An original research article entitled “Evaluation of the role of enhanced external counter pulsation in patients with chronic heart failure” by Sabapathy Kannappan and Thirumal Babu Kannappan was recently published in the International Journal of Advances in Medicine in Aug 2017 DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.18203/2349-3933.ijam20173081. At the end of 35 sessions of EECP therapy the researchers, from from the Department of Cardiology at the Government Vellore Medicla College Hospital in Tamil Nadu, India, concluded that there was significant improvement in symptoms, functional capacity and LV function in the CHF patients.
