EECP Therapy Abstract Presented at the American Heart Association Hypertension Conference

An abstract entitled “Improved Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressure After Enhanced External Counterpulsation Therapy Combined with a Lifestyle Modification Program” was presented by Global Cardio Care, Inc., Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute and the University of Chicago Medical Center was presented at the American Heart Association Hypertension Conference in San Francisco, California this week. The 150 patient study concluded that EECP therapy leads to a reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.  EECP therapy was combined with daily coaching on vegan lifestyle and exercise during the course of the treatment regimen, which is 35 hours delivered one hour daily over a 7 week period.
